Bella Ashworth '27 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has been an extremely important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I first fell in love with it after I scored my first goal. There's nothing like the feeling of scoring a goal, and I have been hungry for more ever since. I've endured much personal tribulation, and have had to exercise much perseverance throughout my soccer journey. Doubt and the feeling of defeat were not easy to overcome. Facing difficult coaches, and wrestling with lack of motivation have helped shape me to be the strong minded person and player I am now. Although it has been difficult, I have never given up on soccer, and don't plan to. No matter what has happened, I have always been able to get back up and keep pushing forward. I can therefore guarantee I will not give up or quit. I have been able to learn how to not only lift up myself when in a time of despair, but also my team mates. 

I am an excellent student, and always strive to put my best effort into everything I do. I have always had all A's, with a B or two here and there. I study profusely, and am incredibly committed to my schoolwork. I always turn things in on time, and I never miss school unless I absolutely have to. I am a devoted person, and I try my best to lead my peers in a positive way.
