Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old .  I started in Juneau alaska , and then continued here in Clarkston., WA when we moved here  in 2013.

I have been , and still am, a Varsity starter for my HS team since my freshman year .  I play centerback, outside back, def mid  on this team.  I have won the CHS Tenacity award in soccer , first Team All League, the Bantam award for excellence in athletics/soccer , numerous outstanding scholar athlete awards , and my soccer team won the State Athletic Academic Award in 2021, and I was the GSL ( greater Spokane league ) Scholar Athlete for 2023 .

I played league soccer for Hells Canyon FC  (HCFC)  for 6-7 years . I was an ‘05 , playing up on an ’04 team.  I played defensive backs, def mid and goalie on this team .  Currently , I play for Washington East FC premier league out of Spokane WA .  I am an outside back, center back and outside mid for this team .

I also am on the ELITE Player Development (EPD)  for eastern Washington for the 2nd time .  Having been picked as 1 of 28 players for eastern Washington as a goalie the first time, this year I play a defender for this team.

I play Basketball and tennis for CHS as well .  I have been playing bball since 7th grade - and was chosen to be on JV My freshman year , I was a varsity swing my sophomore year , and as of my Jr year, I am on Varsity.  We are the GSL League and District Champs this year!  I won the Greater Spokane League Fall Athlete Award for Basketball 2022-23.

I have been on Varsity tennis for 3, going  on 4 years   (although, my 1st year was  cut short due to Covid)  I received 2nd all league for tennis my junior year . and 1st all league for my senior year .  I will graduate with  10 Varsity  letters , the most of any one in my class .
I also have participated in track , up until starting high school .  I am known for my speed , having the fastest 20 in my class .

I am a straight A student , and frequently have advanced classes . My current GPA is 3.97, and I am graduating in the top 10% of my class .   I am actively involved in my school , and school activities. These include DECA and National Honor Society (I am the President on the NHS board ), JR  class VP,  Senior class VP,  leadership , ASB, and Link Crew , and have over 120 hours of community service .  I am also active in 4-H and have won grand champion and grand reserve champion twice each in my 6 years of experience.

I look forward to continuing my soccer career at the college level, having played soccer almost my entire life !! Soccer is a passion for me , I enjoy the sport and the camaraderie it brings.
At present,  I am looking into schools that have forensic sciences or criminal justice degrees, journalism or English/creative writing, communications and athletic training.
