Sports have always been my passion for as long as I can remember, specifically soccer. Although I was formerly a multi-sport athlete I made the tough decision to devote my time and energy to the sport that brought me the most joy. I did love playing softball, but I found that I felt as though I was constantly letting my teammates and best friends down by splitting my time and making a choice. Luckily they understood and I can focus on my future in soccer. The relationships that I make with players, coaches and even the other team have allowed me to grow as a friend, leader and all around person. My skills learned on the field have allowed me to solve problems through my life so far and have given me a great community of support. My aspirations include wanting to become the best soccer player I can, and the best person I can through playing. Something that sets me aside from my peers is my devotion to soccer, my empathy and my unwillingness to give up. I’ve noticed that being empathetic has allowed me to form deeper bonds with my teammates, thus leading to more trust. My devotion to soccer is consistent and strong and always my first priority beyond school work. I have learned good managing skills to help balance the two and so far I’ve created an effective system. Another athletic trait that sets me aside from my peers is that I am a strong, fast and fierce soccer player. Wether it‘s a practice, game or kick around I give all of my effort and do my part as a teammate. Soccer has allowed me to find interests in life outside of the sport such as my interest in the human brain and the psychological aspect surrounding it. While looking at school I make sure they have the majors that follow my interests both in soccer and life. My overall goal is to have fun, make memories and follow my passions by playing soccer at the next level.
