Soccer has been a big part of my life since I was 6 years old. As a center back, I love being the leader on the backline, staying calm under pressure, and making key tackles or clearances to help my team stay solid defensively. I’m confident in my ability to read the game, communicate with teammates, and start plays from the back. It’s a role I take a lot of pride in because I know how important it is to keep the team organized.
While center back is my main position, I also enjoy stepping into more attacking roles when needed, like playing as a midfielder in the 6 or 8 spots; or even or even as a 10 or 9. These roles allow me to show my creativity, vision, and ability to help my team push forward and score goals. I’m always ready to adapt to what the team needs, and I think that makes me a better all-around player.
In addition to soccer, I’m a track and field athlete, which has helped me build speed, stamina, and strength that I bring onto the soccer field. Track has taught me how to push myself and stay focused, even when things get tough.
Off the field, I work hard in school and take pride in keeping my grades high. Balancing academics and sports has taught me how to manage my time and stay motivated.
I’m excited to play soccer at the next level, where I can keep improving as a player and a person. I want to join a program that values hard work, teamwork, and dedication—both on and off the field.
