Alexandrea Villalobos Van Slooten '25 Recruiting Profile

Since I can remember, I have always lived and breathed soccer. My earliest memory is playing soccer with my dad and brother in our garage, dreaming of playing at the collegiate level. Now, I have the honor of representing Costa Rica on the national team and playing for Reign Girls Academy.

In my sports career, I have achieved several significant milestones. With my high school team, as a sophomore, I helped my team make it to state for the first time in 31 years with 5 goals and 16 assists. As a senior, I helped us make it to state again with 10 goals and 14 assists. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to compete internationally with the national team, which has strengthened my game and my ability to perform under pressure.

My work ethic and determination are aspects I consider fundamental in my development as a player. I train six days a week, always working on improving and becoming a better player overall. I also firmly believe in the importance of balancing academic and athletic performance, and I always strive to give my best in both areas.
