Abigail Gerney '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Abigail Gerney I am currently a Senior at Wheeling Central. I believe I would be an outstanding candidate for your team, because I'm not afraid to put in the work, time, dedication into my sports. I love to learn new ways to do better in my performance and my character. I'm very quick on and off the ball, strong passes and shots, and I can read the field very clearly. I'm abnormally strong in my upper body and lower body even for being 5ft tall. I'm not afraid to take orders from others or give them out. I am very disciplined, which goes with a strong head. I also do swim and track so I can be better myself for soccer. 

My freshman year I started on the field playing defense on the back line, and moving up to sophomore year played as a striker and some mid field. My junior year i was a center midfielder supporting my other players by leading them with the ball.
