Hello I am Sophia Stark. I am a senior at The Linsly School. Linsly is a college preparatory school in Wheeling WV. I have started for the past three years for my high school team. I start at defensive mid and am moved to sweeper, center back, or even outside forward. I move to where I am needed most for the team. I am a coachable player in the sense I can play anywhere and take what my coaches say to me to improve.
I have played club soccer with the Pittsburgh Football Club (PFC) for the last five years. I start at attacking mid for the club season. PFC plays in the Great Lakes division. We play against very competitive teams and this helps me become a better player and become more comfortable in my playing skill set. I have good vision on the field and am able to play many balls through the back and break opposing teams' defensive lines.
I am looking for a college to have a high academic standards as well as athletic standards. I would like to concentrate in graphic design, marketing and exercise science. My ultimate dream job is to design shoes and sneakers for athletes! I want to combine my knowledge of the athlete's body and how it works and my love of graphic design to develop footwear for athletes!
