I am a 5’2 sweeper at Antigo High School in Antigo, WI, although I am open to switching to mid or whatever position I am needed at in college. I have a 4.09 GPA, run a 5:48-minute mile, and weigh 116 pounds. I am also a three-sport varsity athlete, with those sports being basketball, soccer, and cross country. Although I want to play soccer in college, I have had a lot of success in other sports as well. For example, I joined cross country this year and broke our school record for girls with a 3k time of 20:23.
Ever since I was a little kid I have envisioned myself playing at the college level. This is a goal I expect to achieve. Failure is something that I cannot stand. My goals and aspirations are to make lifelong friends, start on the soccer team, bring home the trophy, make a name for myself, and most importantly to walk across the stage and receive my diploma. I’m the person that you are looking to add to your team, because of my ten years of soccer experience, which allowed me to build a high soccer IQ. I am also a shutdown defender. Soccer has helped me structure my academic, athletic, and personal life in a positive manner. I am a self-sufficient leader, reliable, respectful, trustworthy, and dedicated person. These attributes help me lead by example to my teammates. I love being a Team player because there aren't many people out there who like to play for their team, I am a confident player also and I like to bring my teams confidence up and not down. When I am on the field, or in the classroom, it's all business and I am focused on the task at hand.
My current goals, as I am in my sophomore season right now, are to make the 1st or 2nd team all-conference as last year I was one of two freshmen in our conference, on the conference teams and tied for 2nd team all-conference with a junior and received honorable mention. I am the first freshman from my town to ever be placed on a conference team. During the offseason, my goals are to continue to gain skill and get faster.
I will be working to get playing time as a freshman anywhere I go. I would like to go to a school with a great atmosphere where I can find a good balance between the class and the field. I take all the opportunities offered to me and would love to show up on the big stage. I am open to different types of schools, although I would prefer one with a good set of coaches and courses in which I can major in children's oncology or sports medicine.
