Meghan Zwicker '23 Recruiting Profile

           The feeling I get on the field is a feeling I can not explain. My name is Meghan Zwicker, I am currently a Senior at Port Washington High School. I am going to tell you a little about myself. I have many interests in my life. I love nature, horses, snowmobiling, and hunting are a few things I enjoy doing, but over all soccer is the most I am interested in. Playing in college is my next big step in my soccer career and have never wanted anything more then to play college ball. Soccer is an escape away from reality for me. Talent has taken me a long way but I know I need to train on my own as well to keep developing as a player. Soccer has taught me many things through out the years, structure, leadership responsibility, love, passion, and desire for the game and I can bring all that to your team and more. I'm ready to make the next big decision in my soccer career and can't wait to see where it takes me. I have always made it a goal to be a leader on and off the field, not a follower. I'm a team player, I like to see my team/teammates succeed just as much as I like to succeed. I love to win but I have learned from losing as well. I know what I am capable of doing as a player and want to keep improving to the player I know I can be. 

           A little about the way I play. I'm always looking for the next play. I don't like standing still it makes it to easy for the defenders, I myself love to score but also love setting up teammates for the scoring opportunity. I'm quick with the ball and like to change the paste of the game as well. Movement off the ball is key for me, always looking for over runs, through balls and attacking the ball in the air. The love passion and desire for the game is something that has never faded away for me, I have never and will never get sick and tired of the game. I'm a very coach able and open minded player, I love feed back from my coach weather if it's something I need to improve on or something I did good at. I love communicating on the field with my teammates, I'm not a shy person. I like to come in and shake things up and get players on their toes and will never back down from competition.
