2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hi! My name is Fionah Desautels. I am senior in high school and swim for Auburn Aquatics. I have loved the water ever since I was a little kid, but in eighth grade I started taking swimming more seriously. I am a hardworking student athlete and am willing to take feedback given to me and implement it into my swimming and schoolwork. In college I wish to pursue my interest in exercise training and nutrition, while swimming and helping my team win championships.

- This meet was my first club meet of the 2022 short course season. I had so much fun while going nine new best times. Some of these times include: 200 IM (2:19.14), 200 back (2:16.05), 100 back (1:01.77), 50 free (25.26) and 100 free (56.34). This is only the first meet of the season and I cannot wait to reach my future goals this season.

- This meet was a great way to start off the high school season. I swam 50 fly (28.72), 50 back (30.06) and 50 free (26.50) and got 1st in 50 back, 2nd in 50 fly and 3rd in 50 free. I also got to compete in a relay with my team which was very fun!

- personal best in: 50 free (26.18) 100 free (57.37) 100 back (1:02.55) 400 IM (5:03.05) and 2 second best swims in the 100 fly (1:03.31) and 200 back (2:17.30) overall a very successful meet!! In girls 15 and over I finished as an individual, 6th. Our girls team scoring 3rd overall!

- 100 butterfly finals: 5th place with a personal best time of 1:03.02 and 100 backstroke finals: 5th place. My split in the 400 free relay was a best time at 55.90 as was my split in the 200 free relay which was 25.50.
