2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Olivia Mills and I'm a Junior in high school. I am a student athlete with a strong academic and swimming record. My collegiate goal is to graduate with a degree in veterinary sciences and pursue a career as a veterinarian at a zoo or marine life sanctuary. Throughout my high school career I have been primarily homeschooled while taking a few course at Thunder Mountain High School. During this time I have taken honors, advanced placement, and college courses for an overall GPS of 3.6.
Swimming is my passion and my mom will tell you that I have been swimming since I was born. My competitive career started when I was 8 year old and has progressed steadily ever since. Currently I swim with the Thunder Mountain High School team and the Glacier Swim Club. As a swimmer I'm independent, trainable, and am strong in sprint to mid-distance events. My best strokes are freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.
