When I was eight years old, I started swimming. I fell in love with the water and the idea of competing. I became serious about swimming when I got my first zones cut at the age of 10. By the time I was 12, I had broken two state records, 200 back and 400 IM. This made me realize I wanted to swim at the collegiate level. Since then, I’ve been very dedicated to swimming. I have always enjoyed the challenge and the idea that one can always improve. This has motivated me to always do the best I can as my love for the sport continues to grow. Since my college years grow nearer, I picture myself at a school where I can excel in both the pool and the classroom. As for my academics, I am very driven and always strive to do my absolute best. Because I am extremely dedicated to my studies, I have achieved a cumulative GPA of a 4.0 while being a dual-sport athlete. I strongly believe that my drive to succeed in my academics and my work ethic in swim will be a great asset to your team. As I approach my graduation in 2022, I am eager to face the new challenges the collegiate level brings. I look forward to getting to know you and your swim program better.
