I would like to be part of a team that values respect for myself and others, has a good work ethic and achieves goals. I am hardworking, dedicated and driven. My goal is to attend a good college and gain an education that will help me to give back to my community. I would like to study biology, with medicine being the end goal.
Swimming is my passion. I have been swimming since I was two years old. When I am in the pool, I feel at home and I feel like I can achieve anything. I enjoy setting goals and targets such as dropping at least 1 sec in every race I swim, sometimes that can be really hard but I always swim my hardest. I have worked well with every coach that I have had and the feedback they always give me is that I listen and do exactly as they say- I am trainable- which has attributed to the results I have achieved so far.
I believe that I am a natural athlete, but swimming challenges me at every level.
I am also good at encouraging team members and I am seen as a role model, even to older swimmers. I believe I would be an asset to any swim team.
