My name is Leilani (Leila) Fack. I have been swimming for over 10 years and have become a very accomplished swimmer and athlete. I currently hold 3 provincial records in my age group. In 2021, I was placed first in all of Canada for 14 years old's 50m and 100m freestyle (LCM). I excel under pressure so I don't have a problem competing at high-level meets. I never back down from a challenge and there is always a new goal that I am working on in and out of the pool.
I want to go to a college that will help me reach my goals academically and as an athlete. School is just as important to me as swimming. A university with high standards of education is one that I can see myself attending.
In all my years of swimming, I have never had a coach or teammate that I couldn't work with. In fact, I thrive in new environments and love making friends. I am described as an easy-going and genuine person by my friends and family. I am a natural leader but I know when it's time to listen and follow directions. I believe I would be an asset to any swim team.
