I joined my first year round club swim team when I was just 7 years old, and since that time, swimming has grown to become my greatest joy and accomplishment. Over the years, I have made lifelong friendships and learned how to set and achieve goals through swimming. My ultimate goal has always been to swim for a college team. As a high school sophomore, I am proud to say that I hold several team records on both my club and high school teams and I look forward to continuing to improve in the sport over the next several years. In college I plan to major in Architecture, with a focus on affordable and sustainable housing. Swimming has taught me how to work hard, but also how to give back to others and so this is the type of career I see myself having in the future. I hope to reach all of my academic and athletic goals over the next two years of high school, and have the opportunity to swim for a college where I can also pursue a career in architecture.

- I swam the 100 backstroke and the 200 backstroke. In the 100 backstroke I was the top qualifier in prelims and finished in 4th place overall. In the 200 backstroke I qualified for finals and won 2nd place overall in finals with a new best time of 2:26.48.

- I swam the 100 backstroke, 200 medley relay, and 400 free relay. Our 400 free relay qualified for finals and placed 12th overall. Both relays achieved and now hold Benicia High School team records.

- At DALs I swam the 100 backstroke, 50 free, 400 free relay, and 200 free relay. The meet was timed finals. I placed 1st overall in the 100 backstroke and qualified for NCS (North Coast Section of CIF). I placed 2nd overall in 50 free. Helped my relay teams to place second in both the 400 free relay and 200 free relay. Both relays also qualified for NCS.

- I swam the 100 backstroke and the 200 backstroke. In the 200 backstroke I qualified for finals with a new best time of 2:08.43, breaking the Vallejo Aquatic Club 15-16 team record and achieving a sectional time standard. I placed 8th overall. In the 100 backstroke I qualified for finals with a new best time of 59.83, breaking another Vallejo Aquatic Club 15-16 team record. I placed 15th overall.
