Taylor Hummel '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

Thank you for visiting my profile.  I am 15 years old and a Junior at Vacaville Christian School. I have played softball since I was 4 years old. I started pitching when I was about 7 and started pitching lessons at 8. My pitches include fastball, change up, screw, curve, rise and drop.  My coaches would probably describe me as the funny kid. I enjoy making my teammates laugh; although I know the right time to do so.  When I am not on the mound, I play first base. My goal is to play softball at the college level while pursuing a degree in either interior architecture and/or design, veterinary medicine, animal science or zoology. When not playing softball, I enjoy hanging out with my family, taking care of the animals on my grandmother's ranch, or doing things with friends.
