During my college years, I aspire to run the 400 hurdles, continuously improve, and help the team succeed in its endeavors. Also, if you have a high jump spot open I would love to high jump. If you need a runner for other events, I am open to run as needed for the team. If there is a heptathlon event, I would be up for the challenge. You will find that I am an excellent choice. I am talented and self-motivated with an internal desire to continue to improve on my abilities. You can ask any teammate of mine or any of my coaches, "How is Isabella Laspina's character?'' They will tell you that I am hardworking and always strive to improve and do my best.
At the collegiate level, the expectations are high. What makes me different is that during my freshman year, I received the award of Most Versatile. This demonstrates that I am indeed very talented in multiple events, so I know that I am an extremely reliable person to have on the team. I have been running track since elementary school. In 2019, I attended UCLA Track and Field Camp. I earned Varsity Letter as a Freshman. As a Sophomore and Junior, I was a team captain. Another aspect that sets me apart is my excellent nutrition, it is key to recovery and performance. During the pandemic, I was able to keep excellent academics. During the off-season, I have run 2 half marathons, swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco, played water polo, and am a lifeguard for the City of Benicia.
