Hi my name is Alexandra, I'm in 8th grade and I have been swimming since I was 6 years old,. My parents enrolled me to swim lessons to learns how to float and defend myself in the water in case of an accident. My then teacher saw potential in me because of my long wingspan and big feet and big hands. Swimming has always been easy to me and when I’m at the pool I’m in my element. during the covid pandemic it was very hard for me because no pools were open and my parent purchased a rectangular plastic pool to put in the back yard so that I could keep swimming with a strap at my waist.

I’m very committed to my school work and I work very hard at my swim practice and always give 100% at practice and meets, I have been state champion every single year since I was 10 years old in long course and sort course. I want to keep swimming in college and one day represent my country in the LA 2028 Olympics.
