Hi! My name is Kaitlin De La Cruz. I am 16 years old and I am a junior at Downey High School. I have been swimming competitively for about 11 years. I consider myself to be dedicated, flexible, passionate, competitive, and most definitely a hard worker. I can hardly stay out of the water, as swimming is one of the most important things in my life. I currently attend the Downey Dolphins Swim team, for which I am the captain of, as well as swim on the Varsity swim team at Downey High School. I am a student athlete and I take pride in my grades as well as the sport(s) I play. Swim has always been a big part of my life and it has taught me the importance of perseverance and working hard to achieve your goals. I am always open to improving anything I can in order to better myself and to benefit my teams. I aspire to swim on a college level and hope to be allowed that opportunity.
