Leighla Louie '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Leighla Louie. For the past 12 years, I've been swimming competitively with the East Bay Silver Dolphins, my local USA swim team. I've also been a dedicated member of my high school swim team, the Hercules Titans, from Freshman through Senior year. My passion for swimming began when I was just four years old, and I’m eager to continue this journey into college. Swimming has been a central part of my life, and I’m highly motivated to excel. Over the past five years, I’ve unofficially taken on the role of team captain for my club swim team. In this role, I’ve helped keep my teammates and myself focused on our training sets, pushed others to reach their potential, and offered advice when needed. Even with all my competition experience, I’ve always been a cheerleader for my teammates.
