Jayne Brandt '20 Recruiting Profile

Being a apart of the Red Bluff High School Swim Team has been some of the most fun times of my life. I love competing everyday with my teammates and could not imagine my life without swimming. I fell in love with the sport at age five, I haven't looked back since. I've learned that swimming is more mental then it is physical, and you have to believe everyday your going to crush the set or win the race. Injury's are a part of sports, but I'm happy to say that none have ever stopped me.

I am so fortunate to be able to swim with such a great high school and club team. I have learned that swimming isn't just about getting medals and ribbons, but about commitment, hard work and sacrifice. I feel that I possess the skills not only in the pool, but outside as well. I love doing anything to help another person out, whether it be in the classroom, at the pool or in the community. I am looking for a program that is a good fit for my not only athletically, but academically as well.  I know it takes a lot to become a collegiate athlete, but I know that I'm up for the challenge!
