Personal Statement
Swimming has taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of leadership. These qualities shape my everyday life and will continue to do so in the future. My parents have taught me to incorporate two elements into my life: attitude and effort, in order to succeed . Both of these have now become a part of my philosophy towards life and swimming. Not only do all these factors shape me, but my own experiences with swim have as well. As I continue to swim, my love for it only grows stronger. The pool truly is my home. I cannot imagine myself without swimming and I'd like to become part of a program that would allow me to continue to do what I love and be surrounded by people with similar aspirations.
