Heyyy! My name is Emma and I've been involved in swimming since I was 2 and I started competitive swim when I was 5. Over the years, I've found out that in groups I often naturally take on a leadership role. I love organizing events such as senior nights and I like being inspirations to others. Honestly, swimming has helped me in a lot of unexpected things in life. For example, because I have pushed myself to hop into a pool tired at 5 am and push myself, I've learned to be able to get myself up and going even if I don't feel like it in other situations. This may sound ridiculous, but I've recently started driving, and I've realized that swimming has taught me how to be patient with the person infront of me. My goal is to swim in college and I want to push myself at each practice to get faster and get to my goal.
