Allison Parra '21 Recruiting Profile

I am looking to swim in college. I am very passionate about this sport and would love to keep doing it. I am not the fastest swimmer but I do work hard.  I want to be a leader to the community and inspire younger people. I want to show others that they can do whatever they put their minds to. I am ready to put in the effort and go all out 110%. My attitude is always positive, even at 5 am practices. I love cheering on my teammates, not just at meets, but at practices too. “Positive energy create fast swimming”, my coach always says. I love receiving feedback because it helps me become a better swimmer. I always try to fix what the coaches tell me and learn from my mistakes. I am a good time manager and always balance school and swim. I am a self motivated person and if I start something, I finish it.
