I have been swimming since before I can remember. When I was little I begged my parents to let me join a swim team, and when I was eight it finally became possible. I joined a small local team and immediately fell in love with the sport. By joining a swim team I was given some of my favorite memories, closest friends, and overall a passion for something that is so much more than just a sport. I love swimming and being in the water, it is my therapy, my light in the dark. Swimming truly has shaped me to be the person I am today. I would like to swim in college to be able to become an even better swimmer amd teammate, and to continue with the sport that has played such a key part in making me the person that I am.
