I have been swimming for as long as I can remember, starting on a rec team when I was in Kindergarten because I wanted to be like my older brothers. I have continued to swim through the years and have developed a passion for the sport. I also spend my summers lifeguarding, which has only deepened my love for the water.
In addition to swimming, I also play soccer and row crew for my high school. Our swim team is small, and we have to borrow a pool in a neighboring town's middle school to practice three times a week. We've only hosted one swim meet because of our size, but I have enjoyed swimming and have been an ALL-NEPSAC athlete in my division in both 2023 and 2022.
I believe that I have a lot of growth and potential as a swimmer, as my program is limited and I am not able to swim year-round due to my other commitments. I am excited at the prospect of swimming for a college team and being part of a larger program. My career goal is to eventually be a Physical Education Teacher and an Athletic Director. I believe that I have the drive, determination, and work ethic to contribute positively to a college team. I am eager to push myself to grow as both an athlete, student, and individual.
