Throughout my swimming career, I have committed myself to improving in any way possible. Since I was little, I had dreamed of making the Zone Championship team. I pushed myself during practice and asked my coach for feedback. Finally, I reached my goal not only once, but twice in my swimming career. Getting to be apart of the Zone team, has taught me that determination and effort are vital to improving my swimming abilities.
I am grateful for the opportunities I have received throughout my journey, such as qualifying for Senior Championships and winning three events during the 2018 Regional Championships. I have learned to push myself, and accept suggestions to make my swimming better. Not only is swimming vital to me, but academics as well. Currently, I am working towards completing my sophomore year with high honors and making my way towards the National Honors Society. I hope to find a program where I can dedicate effort towards swimming and grow academically. With my work in two sports and student scholar, I believe I can make a positive impact in your program.
