I am a born swimmer. From the time I was a little two year old who would throw herself into the pool until now, I have grown with the sport. Swimming has taught me much more than the "perfect" stroke technique. It has taught me to be humble, kind, industrious, accountable, respectful, dedicated, and loyal. It has taught me to be a true champion and to pass on to others what has been taught to me. In order to do this, I need to further my experience with the sport. My goal is to find a coach/university who are willing to put in as much time into my success as I am, who are as dedicated to swimming as I am, who will treat me with the kind of maturity and respect that I will give to them, and who will help me grow even more than I already have. I need a second family. A home away from home. I am a fierce friend to those who let me and a big supporter of my teammates. I show these same attributes in my academics. I do not just want to hold the required 2.0 GPA. I put out as much excellence in my school and community as I do in swimming. I work to reach my full potential as a student athlete. I will push myself past my limits to reach the standard I set for myself.
