Academic A/B Honor Roll Sophomore Year, and recognized for pre-honors Spanish Class Junior Year - Inducted into National Honor Society
  • ActivitiesI attended the Model Montessori United Nations Program for three years in middle school. l also completed the Bureau Program to be an ambassador for future conferences that take place in NY. I also spearheaded a MMUN program at my middle school for those that could not afford to attend so that other students could have similar experiences. In addition, I volunteer in the community giving service to organizations such as the JAFCO Children's Ability Center, holiday gift drive for teens with my mother and spearheaded a swim suit drive for children in need in the community after discovering that although children can get free swim lessons as many do not have the ability to purchase a bathing suit. I also provided drowning prevention pamphlets with the bathing suits. In 2019, I volunteered at the Povarello Center to prepare food for Thanksgiving for the Wilton Manors Community. In 2020, I was asked to participate in a United Way Leadership Conference and I completed a 2 day virtual course. I am also representing my swim team on the Florida Gold Coast as a student liaison with a goal of assisting in the Safe Sport Program. I have also completed a volunteer project for Hands on Broward, where I made toiletry bags for health care workers that were distributed on September 11th. Summer of 2021 - 56 hours of assisting with swim lessons for younger children (56 hours) at Summit Questa Montessori Program December 2022 - USA Swimming - Golden Goggle Awards - volunteered award’s presenter for the evening. Summer of 2022 - volunteering 12 hours each week at the JAFCO Children’s Ability Center Camp for Children with Developmental Disabilities. Summer George Mason University Washington Journalism & Media Conference 2022-2023 Year - Will mentor Freshman and/or Sophomore Students
