I began swimming competitively when I was 8 years old. I live in Lake City, FL and I swim for Makos Aquatics Club of Gainesville. I am the youngest of three in my family and my older brother swims in college. I am very dedicated to swimming and look forward to swimming in college.
Growing up in a swim family I didn’t really get a choice whether I swam or not, so I quickly learned to love it. I am very committed to swimming and it shows, I live in a small town there are no year round swimming programs here so I have to drive an hour each way to practice. I currently swim for Makos as well as Eastside High School.
I hope to attend a college in a bigger sized town since as I’ve grow up in a small town and commute for most things in my day to day living. My goal is to complete a program in Exercise Science and work in the field of training, whether that is coaching or personal training.
I am excited to meet other athletes and compete together on a college team. I enjoy competing and training with likeminded swimmers.
