Hello! My name is Emily Lopez Diaz, and I am a 16-year-old competitive swimmer in High School. Swimming is my passion, it both keeps me calm and always on my toes at the same time.
I have been swimming competitively for around 12 years, and I am who I am today because of it. Swimming has not only taught me how important teamwork is, but it has also given me a great amount of a discipline and determination, which are attributes that have become a part of me and probably will be with me for the rest of my life.
After high school, my goal is to continue swimming in college while studying pre-med to eventually become a pediatrician. I am so excited for what’s ahead and am ready to take on the next challenge !
