For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a doctor. In college, I hope to take strides to achieve that dream. Additionally, I want to continue my swimming career in college as well. I have been swimming for 8 years and I have no intention of stopping any time soon. My life has been driven by swimming. My competitiveness and hard work in the pool has carried over to my life out of the pool. I've always been quite the perfectionist when it came to my schooling, but I've never really seen that as a bad thing. One of the most important things my team has taught me was how to be a great teammate. Our Sarasota Sharks motto is "FTT- For The Team" and we live by that. I am excellent at lifting up my teammates and working with others. In my opinion, there is no point in being on a team that doesn't act like one. Over the past 8 years, I have developed a sense of leadership and responsibility towards my team. Instead of "slacking-off" when the coach isn't looking, I am holding my other teammates accountable and encourage them to do the right thing and give their best. I hope to carry this mindset over to my future college team.

Watts also holds a prestigious ASCA level 5 rating in the Age Group Division. His swimmers have gone on to become National Qualifiers, top collegiate competitors, World Record holders, and Olympians. - ActivitiesPre-covid I was planning to go on a medical mission trip to Haiti with the New Life For Haiti organization. My aunt is a nurse and goes with a team of physicians there every November to care and treat the children at their orphanage. I held multiple fundraisers to contribute to this cause. I am hoping to go on the medical mission trip next year instead. This is one of the things that drives me to be a doctor and give back to those that need the most help. Volunteer Sarasota Sharks Swim Meets and Events Volunteer YMCA of Sarasota for special events such as Special Olympics, Siesta Key Triathlon, Not-for-profit sponsored events. I volunteered over 100 hours at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and hope to secure a student internship this summer to follow physicians in my areas of interest.
