I am Hannah Huante, a senior at Colquitt County High School. I have been swimming for 5 years competitively. Before my swimming career, I was a dual sports athlete who was passionate about diving and swimming. When I started Junior High and High School carrying two sports and pushing my academics became difficult, because the was not enough time in the day to commit to both, I decided to commit my time to swimming and remain pushing academically.
Currently, I am taking AP Physic along with multiple dual enrollment course. As a junior I completed AP Chemistry and AP Calculus classes with successful outcomes. Just as I push academically, I push with my extracurricular activities. I volunteer at my church, local YMCA, and Partnership for Success. My time with these organizations positively impacted and influenced the younger generations. At Titans Swimming Academy, I am a USA Swimming Junior Coach working with athletes ages 4-8. I am able to share my knowledge of swimming and pass on our team culture. Our team's mission is to build productive relationships and make a positive impact to empower youth to become significant members of society through training and competition that embodies wisdom, justice, and moderation. I believe this has become part of who I am. I will be among the first swimmers from Titans Swimming Academy to graduate and swim at the next level. My goal in swimming at the college level is to set a foundation of excellence for all the Titans who follow me.
As a teammate, I provide support, encouragement, and an ability to bring people closer together. I believe that I will make a healthy addition to your team. Among my valued traits are that I am a hard worker, relentless in my pursuits, persistent in my dedication, and consistent in my virtue.
