Personal Statement
My name is Kayla Bruce and I go to Thomas County High School. I am part of the graduating class of 2027. I have been swimming on my school team since middle school and just joined my club team before starting high school. Since I joined swimming so late I have to be willing to train and push myself twice as hard to compete on the same level as other swimmers. My favorite part of swimming is the individual events but having my teammates on the sidelines to cheer me on and celebrate my successes. Swimming has brought me many teammates and, more importantly, friends. I'm a hard worker and, a quick learner, and being a part of a college team would fulfill my goal of being a swimmer.
