I started swimming when I was just merely 4 years-old. I grew to love the sport and decided to swim for a club when I was 7. Fast foward to now, my love for swimming has not changed, it has only grew stronger. Swimming in college is one of my biggest goals and aspirations. Swimming is a huge part of my life and takes up most of my time, so swimming in college will be an easy transition. I always strive to go above and beyond to make sure swimming is not just an extracurricular, but something that is apart of myself. I may not be the fastest swimmer out there and my times may not be the best, however, I have an immeasurable compassion for the sport and an unwavering desire to continue to train and get better.
Over the summer and through my last year of high school, I will push myself to work hard improve in the sport so that I will be a great addition to whichever college team I commit to. I believe I have so much room to grow as a competitive swimmer and I genuinely hope a college will recognize that, give me a chance, and train me to reach my fullest potential both in and out of the pool.
