Hi, my name is Jordyn Cummins I will graduate high school in 2027, and I live in the small town of Cascade Idaho, and I have been swimming for about two years. I want to compete in College swimming not only for the joy of it but, also because I want to get better and see how far I can go. I want to be a Valuable swimmer not only to myself and my parents but I aspire to be a valuable asset to a team, and the only way to do that is to be committed to my sport, my team, and of course my values. I am a hard-working, motivated, dependable swimmer who wants to learn, who wants to struggle and push past my limits. I don't just want to qualify for a team, I want to earn my way onto a team, a team that is going to help me become the best version of myself, a team that can value me as they would any other swimmer. I want to work for my spot on a team, I can not expect to get this spot without showing up to practice on time every day, without discipline, without motivation, and without desire for my goals; I will adhere to these qualities to the best of my abilities every day. For the last two High School swim seasons I have not missed a single practice and every day I showed up willing and wanting to push myself. I not only try to further advance myself in swimming but I also push myself in school, I have maintained a 3.8-4.0 GPA for the last four years. I personally love school and love discovering new things. I really enjoy math(unless it's probability), English, Science of all kinds, music, and History, my least favorite class/course is a course where I don't learn anything. I have been a part of FFA and 4-H for years and want to attend a College where I can further my knowledge of swimming and learning. I am not only a good candidate for your college and team because I am willing to put in the hard work for what I want but because I want to see myself achieve what I want. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
