Taylor Hogue '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming since a young age. At the age of three I began swim lessons and instantly fell in love. At the age of eight I began my first competitive swim team on the Trails of Algonquin Swim Team. I still swim on this team, this summer being the ninth year on the team. I also swim for my high school Dundee Crown High School and I am on the varsity team. I used to Also swim on the Dundee Dolphins Swim Team. Swimming is something I hope to continue doing for a very long time as it is a healthy and positive extra curricular for me. I have met many of my close friends through swimming and have grown close to my coaches and friends. Swimming is an excellent sport and activity to share with others and the environment is great no matter where you go. I hope to one day become a swim coach and share my love of swimming with others learning to do the same. I hope that I swim in college while also striving to become an OB/GYN nurse.
