I want to continue my swimming career in college because swimming is something I truly enjoy and wish to continue in a more competitive environment. Doing club season for six years along with high school season now have shown me that swimming is something I am passionate about and that I want to do it as long as I can. One thing I do credit myself for having is strong discipline and a good work ethic that have made up for natural talent. Over the years, I've trained hard to get from my first regional cut when I was 10 to my first state cut when I was 14, and I'm still working to improve wherever I can. Academics have come much easier to me than swimming, as I can usually maintain As in honor classes with little to no studying. This allows me to focus on swimming more, lessening the daily stress that I have, as swimming usually helps me relax. I have not completely decided what I wish to do as a career but I am looking into going into business and I wish to study the environment as well. Thank you for taking an interest and I'm excited to see where this process gets me.
