Jordan Mercer '21 Recruiting Profile

Swimming the 1650 while recovering from Influenza A and dropping 21 seconds for a First Place medal and a personal best of 19:26.05 is the highlight of my career to date. However, I feel I learned the most as a swimmer during my sophomore year when I learned how to persevere, be positive and trust that I did the best I could no matter what the results from our dryland coach. I believe his inspiration will carry me through college and life.

I have been fortunate to be a part of a team that has won the Championship meet for several years. I value teamwork, commitment and leadership in everything I do.  I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I believe I have the talent, work-ethic and character to make an impact on your program.
