200 Backstroke Wi...Personal Statement
I have always been smaller than my friends, family members, and teammates, but that only makes me work harder and persevere. My nickname is Small but Mighty; I am only 5'3", but I make up for my size with strength and determination. I started swimming when I was five years old and have been swimming for the past 10 years. I love to swim; it is my passion. Coaches love me because I have the drive, passion, and motivation to work hard and be successful! For the past two years I have won the award for hardest working swimmer on both my varsity high school team and club team. I am a diverse swimmer and can swim any stroke well. In college, it is my goal to find a team where I can continue to work hard, challenge myself and find success while working together with others. I know that the opportunity to swim in college is a once in a lifetime chance that could change my life for the better!
