Personal Statement
My name is Laura Stream, and I'm part of the class of 2021. It has always been my dream to swim in college! I have been swimming for 9 years now and it is a big part of my life. I work hard in and out of the pool, always try to improve myself!
Swimming has taught me the importance of passion, persistence, positivity, and goal setting. I carry what I have learned in my everyday life by being a leader in my community, through NHS and other organizations. Swimming has also taught me the importance of supporting others, because it creates a more positive environment where we all can grow and better ourselves, I hope to continue to pursue my passion and improve myself in these areas at the collegiate level.
