Diana Gruszeczka '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a current freshman at Prospect High School in Mount Prospect, Illinois, swim for my high school, and currently swim with Alligator Aquatics in the IHSA off-season. My path to my swimming career started at Chicago Swim School, graduating in May 2017. Neptunes at LATTOF YMCA was my first competitive team, and that is where I progressed my swimming techniques. I transferred to Alligator Aquatics in August of 2020 and continue to compete for the team. Every day my coaches challenge me with harder sets and improved techniques that lead me to more successes over the seasons. Practice is about 12 and a half hours a week including non-meet weekends. With the ability to quickly adjust to new techniques, being easy to coach, and being open to new ideas, I am also able to swim and improve at all events.
