2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Outgoing, determined, and free-spirited are three characteristics that describe me. I learned from an early age that whatever I do, I give it all my effort and I finish it. That’s where my determination comes from. I always try my best in school and work hard to earn good grades. These characteristics carry over to swimming.
I started swimming competitively when I was seven. I got inspired by my dad who swam and my older sister who swims. I love swimming for my team because I enjoy being with my teammates and pushing myself. Swimming allows me to challenge myself and accomplish the goals that I set out to achieve. One of my goals is to swim at the next level in college.
