Emma Dunham '21 Recruiting Profile

My interest in swimming started when I was nine years old and joined the summer swim team.  After that summer, I joined a winter league and have stayed with swimming since.  I've grown a lot as a person and an athlete through swimming.  Swimming has shown me that's it ok to take a different path from all of my peers in school.

I like a challenge and to try new things.  When I joined the team, I grew fond of freestyle and butterfly along with longer distance races, but  also enjoy the short, upbeat races. I enjoy being part of something bigger than myself: in this case, a swim team.  I am undecided on a major, but I am open to all sizes of colleges.  I can't wait to hear from you, and I hope to be part of the team!
