Hello my name is Karmen and I am currently a junior at Junction City High School. I have always tried hard in school and it shows with my 3.8-4.0 GPA it definetly hasn't beem easy and sometimes I struggle but in the end I pull through. I aspire to keep my grades up because I have always wanted to be a doctor and I know that competition for schools can be difficult. I know that college will be difficult and expensive. Swim can help me get into college and help with scholarship opportunities. Now I don't just swim becuase of the scholarship opportunities, swim has always been something I have been passionate since I was about ten years old. Over the years it has become a sort of escape from life, it gives me a sense of peace. I always put my effort into practice and give it my all. Sometimes my team mates get frustrated with me becuase of the way that I push through workouts and don't take long breaks like they want to. My swim season is in the spring but in the off seasons I like to keep in shape and train to be better.
