Ever since I was little, I've always been passionate about swimming. I've played other sports when I was in grade school, but none have pushed me and interested me as much as swimming has. I started taking lessons when I was five years old, and a couple years later, I began competitively swimming. This sport has been my main source of exercise, socialization, leadership, and more. Over the years, I've learned many things that have stuck with me and will stay with me as I continue to grow up and experience new pathways and challenges. While I've learned many things from my coaches, I've also learned a lot from my teammates and other swimmers I've met during my swimming career so far. Swimming has also taught me new skills and I've gained many traits. Overall, this sport has been one of the main pillars in my life and has helped define who I am... without swimming this past decade, I wouldn't be who or where I am today.

- This all day clinic and meet event is for MESI registered swimmers age 13 & over who have achieved at least one of the qualifying times. Guest Coaches: Brad Burnham (Bowdoin College) Peter Casares (Bates College) Tony DeMuro (Maine Maritime Academy) All meet fees and lunch are included in the price! Cost is $40. Outreach families please contact the office. Swimmers must compete in the 50 free (shoot-out format) and must compete in either the 200 IM or the 500 Free (or they may compete in all three events). The meet will end with a relay event for all swimmers.
