I have been swimming since I was 6 or 7 competitively. Swimming just sort of came naturally to me and is something that I am good at. Swimming for me was a way that I could be myself and let out my frustrations. I still love the sport to this day because it has helped me in so many ways such as becoming more social, getting out of my comfort zone, believing in myself, and I am still learning to be more confident in myself. This sport has helped me become who I am today and I hope to continue that journey and to keep learning more things about myself.
Just little more information about what I want for my college career is that I’ve always had a little bit of a knack for helping people. I like helping people when they need it the most and I love helping little kids. So that is why I have decided for my major entering into college next year I would like to be a nurse. More specifically I would like to be a labor and delivery nurse or a midwife. I just feel like this is such a special job and not a lot of people can do it. But I would like to think of myself as one of those people who can do this job and I hope to succeed in this career path.
