My name is Alexis Moon I am 16 years old and now a sophomore in high school. I started swimming when I was 10 and loved it ever since. I currently swim for liquid lightning, in Lake Orian Michigan, under the direction of Coach Darin Abbasse. Being on a team has taught me many things including sportsmanship and perseverance, I have also been brought closer to now, some of my most cherished friends. I truly believe swimming has made me into the confident self I am today. Swimming has become so much more than a sport to me and more of a lifestyle.
I am a focused athlete and student. I always challenge myself in the pool, I personally think I swim best at large/national level meets and never fail to deliver my personal best.
When I am not in the pool I enjoy being outside, staying active and spending time with my family on the lake. I also like to read and draw when I have time to myself.
I have fallen in love with the sport and it has become a major part of my life. I would like to become a part of a program that challenges me academically and athletically. I hope to be with teammates that will encourage me and coaches that will help put me on the right path.
