When I was growing up I spent a lot of time moving from country to country, and the one thing I found that provided a home for me around the world was swimming. Growing up no matter what school I attended or where I lived I have been able to find family and friends in and out of the pool thanks to this sport, so it was natural for me seriously pursue it as I grew. I am now 17 years old, and a junior in high school and still find that swimming is one of the best and most rewarding parts of my day.
I began competitively swimming at the age of 7 and have not stopped since, I currently train under Coach Ray Onisko at Liquid Lightning in Lake Orion, MI. When not swimming club I am a part of the varsity swim team at Notre Dame Prep and Marist Academy, which along with being a fantastic swim program provides a great amount of academic rigor. I am a member of the IB Diploma Programme at my school as well as a part of programs such as Model UN and the Pre-Med club, which all provide me with a basis to pursue a career in medicine.
I believe that swimming along with my academic goals allow for me to be motivated and focused in and out of the pool and I look forward to pursue a swimming career in college with like minded athletes and students!
