My aspirations for my future in swimming is to find a college that I can continue to work hard in, set new goals, and be a good teammate. I'll continue to keep growing as a better volunteer in the community and create a bright and successful future professionally.
I started swim lessons at the age of 4 and haven't gotten out of the pool since. Club swimming year-round with competitions almost monthly, and a member of the high school varsity team since a Freshman, I have become a true competitor, a respected athlete, and a focused young woman.
Although freestyle is my strongest stroke, my other three strokes are exceptional. My athletic ability has allowed me to not only swim but compete in other sports such as cross country running, track and field, and volleyball.
The issues related to the COVID-19 virus have presented numerous obstacles to my progress, but I’ve chosen to take the issues head on! I have made the difficult decision to complete my senior year at a new school where I can prosper academically and athletically. It will be big change for me but I’ve always enjoyed new challenges!
